Text Messaging Terms

Effective and last updated November 2, 2026

Lexington Home Loans loan updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

The program

Lexington Mortgage Corporation, doing business as Lexington Home Loans (NMLS #347811), sends text messages about your own loan inquiry, application and loan. Messages may include:

These are informational messages. We do not send marketing or promotional offers through this program. A text is a courtesy notice only: it does not replace your loan documents or the disclosures the law requires, which we deliver in writing or in your secure portal.

How you agree

You receive these messages only after you agree to them, in one of these ways:

Agreeing to texts is never a condition of applying for or obtaining a loan. You must be at least 18 and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you give us. Our first message confirms your sign-up: "Lexington Home Loans: you're signed up for loan updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

How often and when

Message frequency varies with the activity on your loan, typically a few messages a week while your loan is in process. We send automated messages only between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. in your local time, and no more than three automated messages a day about the same subject. A member of your loan team may reply to a message you send us at any time.

Cost

We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

How to stop texts

You can stop our texts at any time. These are the ways to do it:

Stopping ends all of our loan-update texts to that number. We act on your request right away, and always within the time the law allows. We send one text confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no further texts unless you sign up again. If you ask a member of our team to stop texts in another way, they will make sure your request is entered through one of these methods.

Help and restarting

ReplyWhat happens
HELP (or INFO)We reply with how to reach us: Lexington Home Loans, (855) 585-8800, Info@LexingtonHL.net.
START (or UNSTOP)You are signed up again, and we confirm it by text.

If your number changes

Please tell us right away if you change or give up your mobile number, so your loan information does not go to someone else. We check numbers against the Federal Communications Commission's reassigned numbers database before texting, and we stop texting any number that replies that it is a wrong number.

Your privacy

We use your mobile number only to send the messages described here. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold or rented to any third party, affiliate or lead generator. We keep a record of your agreement and of any opt-out so we can honor and prove your choices. See our Privacy Policy.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and your coverage. Supported carriers include the major U.S. wireless carriers.

Our responsibility

Texts may be delayed or not delivered for reasons outside our control. Do not rely on a text for a deadline: your loan documents and your loan officer are the official source. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for carrier delays or failures. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited under California Civil Code section 1668 or other applicable law.

Disputes

These terms do not require arbitration and do not limit your right to bring a claim in court, including a claim under federal or California law, individually or as part of a class. Any lawsuit may be brought in a state or federal court in California with jurisdiction, and you may also use small claims court. These terms are governed by federal law and the laws of the State of California. Before filing a claim, we invite you (but do not require you) to contact us so we can try to resolve it.

These terms cover text messages only. If they conflict with your loan documents, your loan documents control. These terms do not change your note, your deed of trust, or any right you have under federal or state law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by text or e-mail at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the change will apply only going forward. If you do not agree, reply STOP. We keep each version of these terms, and we will send you the version you agreed to on request.
